Mechanical Designer Transition
This learning path on-boards the CATIA V5 users on the 3DEXPERIENCE platform with the Mechanical Designer role. It covers the knowledge and know-how related to solid modeling, wireframes, sketches, basic surfaces and building assemblies. This learning path also provides the opportunity to practice the various functionalities that you have learned.

Course Objectives
Upon completion of this learning path, CATIA V5 users will be able to design solid models using the parametric approach, build assemblies using solid models, create simple mechanisms, simulate the relative motions, generate detailed drawings for parts and assemblies with the 3DEXPERIENCE platform.
Prerequisites
Students enrolling for this learning path must be familiar with the engineering concepts and fundamentals of the Mechanical Design domain. Also, they should be familiar with CATIA V5.
